Film lineup for Kicking + Screening Soccer Film Festival in NY

w680The 5th annual Kicking + Screening Soccer Film Festival will take place Tuesday, June 18, through Friday, June 21, at the Tribeca Cinemas in downtown New York City.


Tuesday, June 18

Wednesday, June 19

Thursday, June 20

Friday, June 21
Tim Cahill: The Unseen Journey, dir. by Steven Sander — Before he joined the New York Red Bulls, Tim Cahill was the centerpiece of the Australian national team. In addition to four nights of great films, K+S will present a soccer-art show in partnership with the Futbol Artist Network, a California-based soccer art collective. Artwork from around the world depicting the many sides of the beautiful game will be on display and for sale at K+S NEW YORK 2013.


K+S will make a contribution to this year’s community partner, FC Harlem, a New York-based community youth development organization using “The World’s Game” as a platform to develop “L.I.O.NS” (Leaders In Our Neighborhoods)™.

Kicking + Screening Festivals will also take place in Austin, TX (September 7-8) and Portland, OR (October 11-12).

The festival is currently accepting submissions for both locations. The deadline for Austin is July 15, and August 15th for Portland.
