WE MUST GO TEASER RELEASED
If you’ve been following us on Twitter (@copper_pot), you know that we spent an amazing two weeks with the Egyptian national team filming with them as they prepared for and played in their third World Cup qualifier. Since you’re on this mailing list, you probably know the Pharaohs defeated Zimbabwe 2-1 in a thrilling match played in Alexandria. The crucial qualifier helped Egypt stay atop the standings of their group with a record of 3-0.
It was the first time we had ever been to a match where Egyptian fans were allowed in the stadium to watch their team play–it was also the first time American head coach Bob Bradley coached a game on home soil with fans in the seats. The atmosphere was electric. We put together a little teaser from the trip to give you a taste of what the experience was like. Enjoy!

WE MUST GO is a feature documentary from Copper Pot Pictures that chronicles the journey of the Egyptian National Soccer team and coach Bob Bradley as they fight to reach the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Egypt has one of the richest football histories in all of Africa, but despite its continental success, the team hasn’t reached soccer’s ultimate stage in 24 years. Now, the Pharaohs and their American coach, as unlikely a pairing as there ever was, have the chance to do more than realize their shared dream of World Cup qualification––they can unite a bitterly divided nation.
