About:
Soccer Sisters United, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization that governs the Anderson Monarchs’ Girls Soccer Club in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Soccer Sisters United, Inc. has no independent funding and relies heavily on donations, grants and sponsorships.
Mission:
To provide high-level soccer training and competition, and academic support to inner-city girls. For 13 years, Soccer Sisters United developed a competitive soccer club providing opportunities to inner-city African-American and Hispanic girls. Presently, SSU continues to be an athletic, mentoring and tutoring organization with multiple teams competing in the best leagues in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey; and tournaments along the East Coast.
