Kingdom Hope

Steve Zakuani started Kingdom Hope in March of 2010. Zakuani plays as a midfielder for the Seattle Sounders. Steve was born in the Congo, but grew up in London. He came to the United States to play soccer for the University of Akron. He was drafted by the Sounders after leading the NCAA in goal scoring as a sophomore. Since entering MLS, Steve has been one of the league’s most exciting players.

The ultimate vision of Kingdom Hope is to establish soccer academies (in London, Seattle and the Congo) where aspiring soccer players will receive soccer training, take academic classes, and receive life coaching over a two year period whilst living on campus.

“To inspire and help individuals to become great achievers both on and off the soccer field.”
