FUNDaFIELD

About:
FUNDaFIELD is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, run by kids, dedicated to enriching the lives of less fortunate youth in Africa through sports. Our goal is to provide soccer fields and equipment to African schools.

Mission/Philosophy:
All members of the FUNDaFIELD team have benefited from having sports in our lives, kids everywhere should have the same opportunities. FUNDaFIELD is working to make it happen.

Where they work:
FUNDaFIELD has funded fields in Kenya, Uganda and South Africa.

What they do:
FUNDaFIELD forms partnerships with organizations that have made it their mission to provide food, medicine, shelter and education to students. Once they have the infrastructures in place and the schools built, FUNDaFIELD will be able to provide a safe field with equipment to play the game of soccer.

Why soccer?:
Play and sports are tools that teach important values and life skills including confidence, teamwork, communication, discipline, respect and fair play. Sports can have a positive impact on children’s education and can improve a child’s ability to learn, while increasing their ability to concentrate. Children learn better when they are having fun and being active.

How to get involved:
INDIVIDUAL – You can “Buy A Square” for $1.00. When you own a square, FUNDaFIELD puts your initials inside, and it is yours forever. Buy one, ten or thousands, every square sold brings FUNDaFIELD closer to completing another field.

SCHOOL – Take the lead at your school and hold a fundraiser or start a club. There are now five High School clubs in Northern California and two clubs starting at college campuses.
